A copy of your prescription, a written estimate for anything you pay yourself and the next step, if there is one.

Billing and what to bring

  • How it is billed

We check your benefits before the visit where we can. How fees work explains which visits a vision plan pays, which medical insurance pays and what you pay yourself.

    How fees work
  • What to bring

    • Current glasses and contact lenses

    • Vision and medical insurance cards

    • A list of any eye drops or medicines you or your child use

    • Last year's report card or a note from school, if reading is the concern

Before you come

Can a parent or partner come in with me?

Yes. Many people bring someone, and it helps when a parent hears the explanation too.

Is there parking?

Yes, in the lot behind the building on Clairemont Avenue, and on the street in front.
